Jeremy Cherny is the founder and president of Tobin Solutions, an Information Technology (IT) services and solutions company based in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
Jeremy began his IT career in 1982 while in high school and through college selling, supporting, and consulting on numerous computer systems, including the original IBM PC.
In 1990, he joined the incoming class of Firstar Bank’s (now known as US Bank) IT division and served in a variety of roles including systems development, networks, groupware, and a department called technology research and architecture. In the same year, Jeremy started a sideline business named Systems Consulting Company to help small businesses with their computer needs.
In 1996, Jeremy left the Firstar Bank to focus on Systems Consulting Company full-time, later renaming it to Techno*Spec. He worked out of his apartment on the dining room table for a few years, then moved into Milwaukee County Research Park’s Technology Innovation Center. The company’s name was changed for the final time to Tobin Solutions.
Jeremy’s vision became real when Tobin Solutions won the award for Milwaukee’s Best Places to Work in 2016. He continues to lead and grow the team at Tobin Solutions to fulfill on its mission of a better technology experience.
Jeremy has over 30 years of experience in all facets of Information Technology. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management Information Systems. He has spent the past 25 years as President of Tobin Solutions, helping to lead and provide IT support, services and solutions to small and medium sized businesses in a variety of industries throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
Jeremy believes that matching a client’s individual business needs with current technology to get the most return on their computer investment is essential in providing clients with a better technology experience.
Jeremy lives with his family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
